Siemens Caring Hands is the company-wide program to help people in need. It involves voluntary work, partnerships and disaster relief. In Singapore, employees are given a day off each year to engage in community work. Throughout the year, employees go out in teams to spend time with underprivileged old folks, children and handicapped, volunteer at various charities’ functions, and clean up the island-nation’s beaches, among many other activities.
